One last Friday Night Greetings

Howdy, everyone! Well, I’ve finally come to my last Friday Night Greetings. I can’t believe I’ve been doing these since January of 2008. Par for the course, this one is a bit rambly and of little import or consequence — but if it weren’t you’d probably wonder who was impersonating me.

From the beginning, these were about touching base together as the Sabbath began, given that we are so scattered here and there. And they were meant to be a reflection of Paul’s sentiment towards the Thessalonians:

“So, affectionately longing for you, we were well pleased to impart to you not only the gospel of God, but also our own lives, because you had become dear to us.” — 1 Thessalonians 2:8

And you have become dear to us. We will miss you all, and we look forward to those times here and there — at Feasts, at camps, etc. — when we will bump into you and have those opportunities to catch up on your lives and to catch you up on ours.

Knowing that we’re leaving you in Mr. Greer and Mr. Sena’s hands is good comfort! Because we know those are very, very good hands. Take care, and have a beautiful Sabbath. Tonight’s video is below.
