Howdy, everyone! I don’t know how many will see this since so many of us are traveling, but just because the Feast is here is no reason for Friday Night Greetings to disappear! Forgive the short length (which may be a relief!), but I forgot my normal webcam and the iPhone videos tend to take longer to process.
I want to post here the announcement given to all of us last Sabbath from Headquarters, and which I had repeated on Atonement, concerning accessing online Festival services for those who have Internet access and who may be homebound or ill:
Live Video Stream: Those who are unable to attend services during the Feast and who have an Internet connection will be able to view a live video stream of daily services from the Vail, Colorado, site. Just log in to your MyLCG account (www.cogl.org/mylcg.shtml), then click on the button under the “Feast 2012 Streaming Video” header in the right column. (The link is currently not visible but will be visible at Feast time.) The Opening Night service in Vail will start at 7:30 p.m. (U.S. Mountain Time Zone), and most daily services will begin at 10:00 a.m. The video should play with almost any Internet connection, as we plan to offer both low- and high-bandwidth options, and you should be able to access it on mobile devices (iOS and Android). For all computer users, please make sure you have the latest version of your favorite Internet browser with the most recent version of the Adobe Flash plug-in (http://get.adobe.com/
There were instructions for those who do not have Internet access, as well, so that you could access services by phone, but I didn’t want to post those here where there is no password firewall. So, you can either call me directly on my cell phone number and I can give that information to you, or you can click on the “Maps for Trumpets 2012” link above where I have cleaned out the old info and replaced it with the instructions for telephone access to Festival services. (You’ll need the password we announced in services before Trumpets for that page.)
I pray that all of you have a wonderful Sabbath and Feast of Tabernacles! Tonight’s brief greetings video is below.
