Howdy! This page is designed to allow those\u00a0outside<\/em> of the Cincinnati congregation to bid on particular items in the Cincinnati auction on the evening of January 17, 2015 and has pictures of the items available for out-of-Cincy bidding. Not all of the items to be auctioned are listed here — rather, we are only posting pictures of a few select items. This page will be updated as the date gets closer, so please come back to check for new additions!<\/p>\n

HERE’S HOW THIS WILL WORK:<\/p>\n

In the days leading up to the auction, take a look at the pictures below. Each picture is labeled with an ITEM NUMBER and a DESCRIPTION. (Some items have multiple pictures.) If there is an item you would like to bid on, you will need to note that Item Number and Description and then go to the bottom of the page — or CLICK HERE<\/a> — to fill out a “Request to Bid” form.<\/p>\n

The form will ask you to enter the Item Number and the Description (which is a double-check for us on the Item Number), as well as your name, congregation, and\u00a0the phone number you want us to call.<\/em> On the evening of the auction, one of our volunteers will call you shortly before that item comes up for bidding. He or she will be your assistant in bidding for the item, telling you the current bid and reporting your own bid to the auctioneer. On the evening of the auction, you will need to make sure you are available to answer your phone when the volunteer gives you a call. (If we cannot reach someone when the item comes up for bid, we will need to proceed with only those in the room.)<\/p>\n

We plan to close the form down by sundown on Friday, the day before the auction. Only those who submit a form before then (i.e., before the Sabbath) will be called on an item for the next evening.<\/p>\n

Although each form is meant to be for only one item, you can submit multiple forms if you would like to bid on multiple items.<\/p>\n

Again, we plan to add more items\u00a0throughout the week, so be sure to check in frequently before Friday evening!<\/p>\n
