Howdy, everyone! Well, I’ve finally come to my last Friday Night Greetings. I can’t believe I’ve been doing these since January of 2008. Par for the course, this one is a bit rambly and of little import or consequence — but if it weren’t you’d probably wonder who was impersonating me.<\/p>\n
From the beginning, these were about touching base together as the Sabbath began, given that we are so scattered here and there. And they were meant to be a reflection of Paul’s sentiment towards the Thessalonians:<\/p>\n
“So, affectionately longing for you, we were well pleased to impart to you not only the gospel of God, but also our own lives, because you had become dear to us.”<\/em> — 1 Thessalonians 2:8<\/p>\n And you have become dear to us. We will miss you all, and we look forward to those times here and there — at Feasts, at camps, etc. — when we will bump into you and have those opportunities to catch up on your lives and to catch you up on ours.<\/p>\n Knowing that we’re leaving you in Mr. Greer and Mr. Sena’s hands is good comfort!
