I have a number of things to post tonight. First, here is my Friday Night Greetings video, in which I discuss some thoughts on the not-necessarily-evil &#8220;cares of this life&#8221; of Luke 21:34&#8230; (Note: I say in the video that I hoped I had properly adjusted the input levels of the microphone so that the cracks and pops would be gone. But I notice that they are still there. Sorry!)<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/mOxaYwg8noo?rel=0\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Then, here is a link to a post I wrote last night about my first Council of Elders meeting and how thankful I was to be there: <a href=\"http:\/\/wallacegsmith.wordpress.com\/2012\/05\/11\/reflections-on-my-first-council-of-elders-meeting\/\">&#8220;Reflections on my first Council of Elders meeting.&#8221;<\/a> (I covered some of this in my sermon last weekend and will touch on it in Cincy and Columbus tomorrow.)<\/p>\n<p>Finally, here is what I think is a beautiful video from NASA &#8212; a timelapse video collage taken from the International Space Station set to some beautiful music. I think it is an amazing video; we&#8217;ve even plugged my laptop into our television so that we could see it on the big screen. If I recall, during one of the night time flyovers you can see the lights of, I think, Cincinnati, Columbus, Akron, and Cleveland. I might even watch it again tonight to be sure. But don&#8217;t let hunting for your own porch light distract you from the sights and sounds of the video &#8212; and consider how one day we may be able to see such things <em>first hand<\/em> as glorified servants of the King of Kings.
