(…not the the two topics are related.)
Howdy, to everyone, and I hope that your Sabbath is off to a great start! I know that the weather may mean that services will not happen in Columbus, but hopefully the weatherman was just doing crazy talk. 🙂 Regardless, things seem to be on for Cincinnati services in the afternoon, and we are looking forward to it.
I don’t normally mention individual details in the videos that we post for privacy reasons, however I can’t contain myself and wanted to say this at least here: Ms. Janice Whittaker of the Cincinnati congregation has been declared by her doctors to be cancer free! We are thrilled by the news and thankful to God that he has allowed her to overcome this challenge! She will continue to be on very mild chemo through about October, I believe, in their efforts to be triple or quadruple sure, but being officially declared “cancer free” is wonderful, and I do hope we will all express our thanks to God, even as we continue to pray for so many others suffering here and there in God’s family here on earth.
Tonight’s greetings are below. And, by the way, there are other pastors out there doing their own “Friday Night Greetings” and if you’ve never checked them out you should consider it! Mr. Adam West up in Minnesota, Wisconsin, et al. does a weekly “Sabbath Salutations” which can be seen on their (very nicely done) website at lcgmn.com, and his brother Mr. Phil West does a “Sabbath Greetings” video at lcguppermidwest.org. Both of them are two of my favorite humans, and their thoughts are worth listening to. I’m not jealous, so feel free to check them out! Links to those websites have also been available in our Blogroll to the right.
Have a wonderful Sabbath!
