One more thought on “holiness”

Howdy, again, everyone! Before we get to the video, let me point out that our Speaking Schedule for this quarter has, indeed, changed. As you can see below, I posted about it yesterday, or you can just click on “Current Speaking Schedule” on the right (or here) to see the new one. (If it doesn’t say at the top that it is “Version 2” and was prepared on “5/23/2013” then you need to refresh your browser, probably by hitting “F5” if you have a PC.) The changes are just to sermons and announcements, so nothing else should be affected.

Actually, now that I have typed, that I think I had to change one sermonette, but that should be it. Better to look at it and check to make sure your assignments are as you expect them to be. Also, the day that Pittsburgh and Akron meet in a combined service in June has been shifted one weekend.

Also, in my video tonight, I refer to a blog post I made earlier today concerning the Boy Scouts lamentable decision to allow homosexuality among the scouting ranks. You can click here to read that post: “The Boy Scouts and America’s growing rebellion against God” — or you can click on “Thoughts en Route” in the “Blogroll” section on the right side of this webpage, which will go to the home page of my personal blog. In it, I talk about the rebellion against God mentioned in 2 Thessalonians 2:3 and how it fits into the overall picture painted by Scripture. I hope you will take a look.

In the Friday Night Greetings video tonight, I talk a bit about Hebrews 12:14, which was a verse I cut from my Pentecost sermon for the sake of time. The video is below.

Have a beautiful Sabbath day!
