Howdy, everyone! I hope your Sabbath is off to a great start!
Tonight’s video is below and in it I discuss some of the thoughts I had today concerning God’s power during a beautiful storm we had here in Cincinnati. But first, I want to highlight a new effort in reaching others with the gospel! Our video team has begun producing three-minute “shorts” from our telecasts. They are essentially small, self-contained compilations of footage from our telecasts that can stand alone as small teaching tools but which are also (1) easier to share online through various tools (Facebook, Twitter, etc.), (2) introductions to our programs for those who have never seen them, (3) yet another way someone can find us and request a booklet/CD or discover one of the many ways we can be reached on the Internet, and (4) portals to the full programs each “short” is created from. Because they actually do instructively address a topic profitably by themselves and allow people to obtain offered literature, they are not just “promos” — and yet, their structure makes them excellent promos in the best of ways.
There are future exciting uses for which these are planned, as well, but it wouldn’t be my place to talk about things still on the drawing board. I will just summarize by the expression on my face: [Insert big, goofy, excited grin here.]
Only two test videos have been made so far. Here you can view them both. The first one has already been viewed by more than 15,000 people as of this typing, and it was only published yesterday! As a test! It is an edited compilation from Mr. Ames’ telecast “Is God Alive?”
The next has only been just released and is another test. It is from Mr. King’s telecast, “Will You Recognize the Antichrist?”
Pretty sweet! It is amazing the things that everyone is coming up with and it really is exciting being on the frontier of God’s Work in the world. We should thank Him for the opportunity!
So, as anticlimactic as it might seem, the regular ol’ Friday Night Greetings from me video is below. Have a beautiful Sabbath, and thank you SO MUCH for your continued prayers and support!
