Howdy, everyone! Just a quick note to say that the excursion to the Creation Museum went very well, today. Our little group of 19 from the Cincinnati & Columbus congregations toured pretty much the whole thing, except for the outside portion (petting zoo, pavilion) due to the weather. Also, the planetarium was closed for maintenance, but we did get to eat in “Noah’s Cafe,” where you learn that although Noah served Cincinnati-chili, he apparently preferred it Texas-style — a little known biblical fact, to be sure.
I’ve got a review of the trip up on my personal blog. You can read it if you are interested by clicking here: “Review of our Creation Museum visit.” There are just a few pictures there which I took with my iPhone, though my kind wife took plenty more with her real camera. I am still planning a Bible study on the topic of the Bible’s teachings concerning the pre-historic earth, and if I can get a slide show made to accompany it, I will include some of those pictures. I can also include some of those pictures here on our website later after we’ve downloaded them from the camera.
Thanks to those who came out, and I hope you enjoyed it!
